The Importance of Having a Vision

Why is having a vision so important? We all know that without vision in our eyes, it becomes difficult to see the external world. Without a clear vision in our mind, it can become confusing to at worst hopeless to want to live. Quantum physicists have been analyzing the tiniest building blocks of life and what they’re finding at the microscopic level is that atoms and molecules behave in a pretty bizarre way. They’re made of mostly space and they can be in two places at one time. OH MY GOD!!!! We’re talking about the same “piece” of matter being in two different places simultaneously! Everything we can smell touch and taste for the most part is made up of matter and the fact that any matter can be in two places at one time means there’s really no such thing as a solid and stagnant reality. What they’re proposing is that our thoughts can LITERALLY change what we see in the external world.

When we have a vision in our mind of what we want and it’s grounded in some sort of reality and doesn’t require super powers like lifting a three bedroom house on our shoulders or flying to the moon with nothing but our knapsack on, we’re excited, we’re energized, we’re engaged. All the things that make us want to get out of bed in the morning and start the day. With a vision that’s burning in our belly and the belief that we can achieve it, bouts of mental distress and instability tend to show up less frequently. Especially when we believe we’re moving in the direction of our dreams. There will always be challenges to accomplishing our goals and some are of a much greater magnitude than others but that doesn’t discount the need for a clear vision.

How do we find a vision? The million dollar question and unfortunately/fortunately depending on how we want to see it, we ALONE have to come up with that vision. People in our life can express their vision of what they believe we could/should/would/might do. We can watch videos on how important a strong vision is and I’m sure if I spent a few hours with you I would have plenty of ideas about how you could shape your vision but at the end of the day we still have to accept and adopt some vision and make it our own. No one can tell us what’s right for us, as much as people in our lives Love to try.

Why not create a vision that makes you feel excited and a little scared at the sheer awesomeness of it? Something that makes you feel like jumping out of bed in the morning. What other journey feels as good as pursuing our dream? If you haven’t found your life’s calling yet, don’t worry about it and don’t stress. At the same time though, don’t abandon your belief that something wonderful and amazing is out there that is your life’s plan. Our Quantum Physicist friends are helping us see the vast possibilities that lie within our minds. The more we seek, the more we find, as long as it’s coupled with a desire and an aptitude for work. (Work being the ability to focus and concentrate as long as the task at hand requires.)

Having a strong vision for our life keeps us on track and motivated. It keeps us focused and concentrated so we don’t slide into the valley of chaos and doubt, the vacationland of bad decisions. Decisions that originate in a space of chaos and doubt tend to sway in the direction of fear, and fear tends to attracts more fear. There are times when doubt is a good thing like when someone claims the ability to accomplish something you believe to be incredibly difficult  and rarely seen. You’d be more than happy to see the manifestation of the incredible feats they talk about so confidently. When you say show me, I’m open, all too often they prove you right,. much to your dismay. There was a reason you doubted them, they Couldn’t do it! Doubting someone’s character until they make us feel safe and secure and like we can trust them completely is a loving move. And in the dream world, it’s all Love. Keep seeking your dream world until you find it. Heaven and hell both exist, right here and now. They’re not in some faraway place in the sky but in our minds eye of how we want to see our life. If you haven’t found your dream yet, don’t give up searching. Seeking heaven with all your heart even if you haven’t reached it yet, is far better than accepting hell and waiting to pass to the other side.
